Administrators Eric Hall Posted September 6, 2016 Administrators My Rides (3) Report Share Posted September 6, 2016 Two years ago it was the last time we got to ride with our friend Ken Mooty before he passed so now we ride to celebrate and remember him. DV is incredibly scenic and offers riders of all levels plenty of options. Panamint Springs Resort is a nice place and has hotel rooms (book now!), tent cabins, rv hookups, regular tent sites, hot showers, restaurant, bathrooms, wi-fi (weak), etc... I will have a registration link shortly and will be planning to offer dinners Friday and Saturday night as well as perhaps coffee and such in the morning. PSR has a great $10 breakfast too. If you're camping like me then you should know temps will be probably in the low 80's in the day and the low 50's to high 40's at night. Not bad at all. Winds can get pretty strong so a lower profile tent if you have it is good. Tent stakes don't work as well in that rocky stuff so I usually grab a 20lb rock to secure the guy lines and that works well. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

If you haven't made your reservations then you'll want to do that now, especially if you want a hotel room or cabin tent with cots. Looks like we have 18 saying they're coming on the Facebook event page with 41 interested.
