GeoMoto's Birthday Ride in the Mohave Preserve

They say people are known for the company they keep and it could not be more true about GeoMoto (Jesse).  This was a weekend ride out in the Mohave Preserve and everyone who showed up was just fantastic people.

GeoMoto is the very first person I ever rode with off road way back in April of 2011 out in Death Valley.  He also puts on the Flying Monkey Adventure Rally each year in Southern Utah, which is a blast.  I've been to two of them.

I have to say this is the two best days of riding I've ever had!  So many cool trails and great sights to see.  The conditions were pretty challenging for a big bike (especially the sand) but the #xladvproject990 bike handled it like a champ!

A few photos and then I'll tell you the adventure I got myself into getting there on Thursday afternoon...

I agree with Eric. This was two of the best days of riding that I have had and with a fantastic group of riders. The Mojave Desert is more like the Mojave Forest with its abundance of Joshua Trees, cactus and other vegetation.  It is one of the most beautiful places I have ever ridden. A huge thanks to Ian and Deb for mapping, guiding and sweeping all of us. Thank you to everyone who feed us and housed us.  (The shower and bathroom was much appreciated)  The riding was amazing and the comedic conversation around the campfire just topped off the days.  Thank You All!

Thanks! The suspension was very nice. Really gnarly sand but luckily it was all straight line riding so I could always just add a bit of throttle to straighten it out. Best two days of riding ever I'd have to say. Thinking of holding an event in the spring there
