  2. Yeah no one here is in any hurry to do it in any less than the planned 8 days. I think there's wisdom to finishing a day early to have time to set up camp, clean up, get food and enjoy your surroundings. Rodney and I (not sure about Mats yet) were thinking of a quick jog over to the top of WA to start the WABDR south on our way back, maybe even do ORBDR too. Actually, Mats did WABDR two years ago after we did COBDR together so I doubt he'd want to do it again. His comments were that it wasn't as scenic and challenging as CO, but that's cool with me. Anything new is good for me and it will give us a chance maybe to join up with other WA area riders.

  6. Destination Mission Mountain Pass A 12 klm gravel switch-back that during the BC gold rush was quite famous and is still well worth the trip To get there there just follow the map to Seaton Portage . Beautiful lakes and and free camping, if you like to rough it. The whole area is fun for exploring with a lot of fairly well maintained forest service roads Our Vstroms had no trouble on the dry gravel roads. Be prepared, there are no gas stations or cell phone reception, back there your on your own. if you don't mind 12 hours in the saddle this is a fun day trip out of Vancouver, this 600 klm can be done,

One thing to notice on these pictures the Roads with hashed outlines would be similar to 3 track (three wheel Tracks) roads in the USA. Roads with No hashed lines would be similar to twin track (two wheel tracks) Roads with center line would be 4 track roads.. All of the above would have auto and in some cases Tour Coach traffic comming the other way. Look in the distance on these pictures as you can see the road as it winds it's way Up/Down the gap.
