@David Petersen put this interesting video together on how you can convert your tube type rear rim to a tubeless set up. I think it's a great idea given 99% of my flats are rear flats and a plug solution is a 10 min stop vs 45 min (if you're good) for a tubed tire fix.1 point

My brother and I just did something similar on our Africa Twins, it was a great improvement. I have a tire pressure monitor on mine, the tire temps are about 10-15 degrees cooler than they were with tubes. We ride hard and worked the bikes hard over rocks and horrible dirt roads all the way to Flagstaff from Phoenix without any issues.1 point
