    Motoz Tires

Oh there is no way I could do 4k miles. on a set of any tires. I have 8.5k miles on my bike and this will be my third front and sixth rear.

I might just buy a set of 804/805 until I can figure out what to do

I have had issues with my tractionator front. It is wearing perfectly even but at speeds over 100mph it is scary. Any sudden movement causes the bike to go into a tank slapper. I tried varying pressure which helped a bit. Before I identified the tire as the issue I went over my suspension and installed a scott steering damper. Took the tire off and the problem was gone. Now my rear has split between the lugs of every second center lug, with about 85% tread remaining. Can't say that i'm impressed. I love the offroad manners of these tires but I'm scared what to try next. I might just go back to a tkc80. boooo MOTOZ

    Hello from Canada Eh!

Where are you at in BC Stu? I'm in Abbotsford and always looking for like minded people to ride with.

My 21 is not a pointy crown, it is actually quite flat. It must have something to do with the 1190R wide front rim. I wonder if there is a perfect rim width that will give you the profile your after. I am absolutely stunned how well the TKC corners on my bike. The rear I am able to get it to slide a rounds effortlessly but the front stays planted.

My issue is that I cannot bring myself to spoon on anything but the most aggressive knobby but one day I may be carving up the Hwy the best I can and later in the day I will hit some single track. I want a tire that will do both and last forever. I don't ask for much do I!

I would love to see a three way comparison between these, the tkc80, and the Mitas E-09. So far the last two have been my go to tires. I find the Tkc better on road but with shorter tread wear and the E-09 more aggressive off road with longer life. These might be the best of both worlds. My only concern is we have a lot of clay mud and how these might pack up in the wet season...Have they started a waiting list yet:)

Eric, please keep us posted on how they are working out for you. I need new tires but I haven't been overly impressed with anything in the tubeless market so far.

Who's up here in the extreme (non-Alaskan) PNW?

I'm in Canada but I live only about 5 miles from the border crossing at Lynden Wa.
  13. I spoke at length to a local suspension shop and after speaking to Konflict it was evident that they truly understand big bike suspension. I have a local shop 15 minutes from my house and they are great but I will be shipping mine to Konflict.
  14. I spent a lot of time at the Konflict booth at the Touratech rally. When I have the cash or need a first service on my suspension parts these are the only guys that are touching my shocks. I can't wait to hear how you like them. I wish you had more seat time on this bike before the change so that you would be more able to appreciate the upgrade.
  15. I saw Camel ADV on the obstacle course but other than that I saw no one. There were others from Canada but everyone was either riding or hiding from the heat.
