What I purchased.

Excel 19 x 2.50, 17 x 4.25 (Anodized Black). Super Lite Hubs (Anodized Black). 7-175ga stainless steel spokes Super Laced. Sealed Tubeless with TPMs Sensors.

Rock solid wheels! I've used these for the last three big adventure rides and they've held up phenomenally. I can feel a significant difference in stability and suspension off-road. With the thinner tire my off camber turns and leans have improved greatly, the stock setup I'd regularly encounter a situation where my front tire dived or washed out in a angled turn. This was in sand, dirt, and mud. With the thinner front tire I rarely have this problem now. My confidence in the strength of this wheels is much more than stock tubeless setup, as I ride over rocks I don't have that sensation of my wheel bending when I hit every little thing. There's a better audible sound that doesn't make me cringe like the stock wheels would.

My first ride I managed to hit a sharp rock and blew my brand new Mitas E-09. Tire was trashed to include the sidewall. Thankfully there wasn't a scratch on my Woody's front Wheel. Remarkable!

I've noticed a decrease in stability when cornering on-road. Not by much but its noticeable. I run 20 psi all the time so this is probably a contributing factor.

I'll probably be ordering at 21' front tire soon!

Woody's Wheel Works wheels are by far the best custom wheels available anywhere in the world. They are Dakar-proven and world renowned. They are both lighter and stronger than stock wheels and the rear in this case is sealed as tubeless while the front is tubed. These are an all-new proprietary hub design that Woody put together just for this project bike!

Front = 1.6" Excel A60, Rear = 2.5" Excel, both with RAD hubs. Super-laced, of course
