Product Details

I was looking for a clip on windscreen accessory to better channel the flow of wind at highway speeds on my KTM 690 (with Britania composites Lynx r fairing). I stumbled upon the puig products and gave it a try. This really, really works - most noticeable above 60 mph. I found that when correctly adjusted for me (many positions possible) it created a calm riding envelope, fantastic for my fast ride out to Death Valley last weekend (2016 TOD). The screen is very well made, strong and well finished. The clips are perfectly finished, adapt to any widescreen (mine is flat so very very easy). The hinges on the other hand are a plastic with the pivot being anchored by a plastic press on item. I tried adjusting once while moving (lower speed) and off it popped!!! Gone for good. I used a zip tie to hold it together (and it still is holding after 1000 miles. I did remove this for off road riding as it created way too much vibration on my windscreen over wash board and bumps. A great product which needs stronger hinge points. I'll be letting puig know.

Good quality plastic that looks better than the stock shield. I purchased the tinted version. Maybe slightly large for off-road use, I'm probably going to remove it before attempting any single track.
