I think it's important to consider what a product is intended for as well as how it's used. The Nac Pak isn't really that bad of a utility/hydration pack and isn't positioned like the feature-rich products like you'll find from American Kargo, USWE, Kriega or Geigerrig. This is more an entry level pack. Their riding apparel certainly is positioned that way which is why I'd love to see what next-generation utility/hydration pack is in Klim's R&D pipeline. That being said, this pack has functioned rather well over the years with a few minor issues: The velcro strap that's supposed to hold up the bladder never did that for more than a second or two but it really doesn't affect anything if the bladder falls down inside the pocket as a result My first bite valve didn't last that long. Klim was super responsive (as always) and replaced it but that one's showing wear now too. I think bite valves are just a normal wear item. The shoulder straps can really pull on your shoulders over time. I think this may be even more of an issue for small bike riders who actually store their tools in this. I just use it for water and my goggles. I think that other style of connectors the competing brands have may be a way around that issue. The color quickly fades in the sun The good parts: Klim's amazing customer service The fact that it's still going strong after nearly five years of use Bottom line: Decent entry level utility/hydration pack Link to review Share on other sites
