Guest beemer bunny July 26, 2017 Report Share this review I bought both the over-the-boot and the in-the-boot versions in 2016. Really appreciate them when riding in warm to hot weather - although we never get extreme temperatures over here in Switzerland. They are definitely water-resistant to a certain point. Very comfortable to wear, they do not hinder movement in any way. The leather parts on the inner knees tend to "bleed" a lot when washing them the first few times. So it is best to wash them on their own or with other very dark or black garments only. Link to review Share on other sites
Eric Hall 4,526 July 7, 2016 Report Share this review These are a really great pair of riding pants. They were the first solo set (not part of a riding suit) I ever bought and I still have them. I have the earlier generation so they don't look exactly like the photo and I bought them on sale for about $170. They have many many miles on them including two weeks in Bolivia where I spent three days in the Amazon jungle on a boat as well as high as 15,600' in the altiplano. You're probably going to want their Mojave pant or even the Arakis pant from Icon Raiden for maximum ventilation in the hottest of conditions or even their Badlands, Adventure, Overland, or DKR or OX from Icon Raiden pant for conditions that are colder than maybe 50F or include the likelihood of rain. These are water resistant but not waterproof. Your crotch will be the first part to get wet but that's not much of an issue here in SoCal. I chose the over-the-boot but I believe you can buy an in-the-boot version. Link to review Share on other sites
