Took it on White Rim Trail (not sure what I was thinking) as my first off road experience since being a kid. This is my go-to, long mileage bike. Manybikes 49 January 7, 2015 Report Share this review Most versatile bike I have ever owned... bar none. I purchased my R1200GSA new from Ventura BMW in Sept of 2008 fully loaded. It was the first year of the Enduro Transmission, ESA, ABS, Traction Control and many other top notch features. Equipped with the BMW pannier racks I ordered up the Aluminum panniers and out the door this bike cost me just about $24k. Some say the KLR is the swiss army bike... but I beg to differ. The GSA never lacks for power, capacity, wind protection and ... I've got tubeless tires and tank which lasts almost 400 miles. Now that is swiss army / adventure status.
