Great ride. Had a 2012 road that I started with and upgraded when I found a deal on a used XC. Larger front wheel and better suspension were huge. That said, the the stock suspension sucks for someone bigger than average. With some upgrades it has been a great dual sport and tourer.- 1 comment

ur new multi-function rear rack is a great compliment to the versatility of the KTM 950/990 Adventure motorcycles (all years). These stout plates are made of 1/4″ aluminum with generously sized holes around the perimeter for tie down points. Our standard rack measures approximately 12″ deep by 12″ wide. This size is compatible with all known SADDLEBAG luggage systems including KTM, Touratech, Hepco-Becker, Jesse, Happy Trails, SW-Motech and Micatech. This rack is NOT designed to carry a top box. The “multi-function” part of the equation comes from the ability to mount the RotopaX carriers for 1 or 2 gallon fuel or water containers, as well as the compatibity with our winch support plate (ordered separately) to carry your WARN XT17 or RT15 electric winches. The optional winch support plate is made of steel and mounts between the frame of the bike and the rear rack, offering plenty of support for the winch as well as some room for additional luggage. Serious adventure riders are quickly seeing the benefit of carrying these lightweight electric winches in recovering a bike off the beaten trail, or simply navigating around an obstacle which would otherwise require a “U-turn” to seek an alternate route. I've been riding for for about 28 years on many different genres of bikes - from dirt, to cruiser, to crotch rocket. I have to say, this bike is by far the best I have had the pleasure of owning and riding. The Triumph Tiger 800XC is a very well made, light, and maneuverable bike. Very easy to handle off road with plenty of umph to hang on the freeway whilst traveling to your off-road destination.-

GIVI PLR5108 Pannier Rack is designed to fit motorcycle BMW R 1200 GS. As you can see from our PDF fitting instructions above, this easy to fit tubular pannier rack will take two Side Cases. The PLR5108 Pannier Rack can be fitted independently from, or in conjunction with a GIVI Top Case Rack. Please note that the indicators will need to be moved from there original position. The PLR5108 features a rapid detachable rack system, allowing the user to attach and remove the rack with ease. This means that when you are not using your Side Cases, you can remove the unsightly rack structure too. PLR5108 pannier rack feature special semi-turn screws, these allow you to detach the main structure of the rack from its inconspicuous supports. These supports are circled in red in the image above. Touratech Zega Pro panniers have provided secure dry storage for adventure riders the world over. The body and removable lid feature rounded lines with rugged corner protection that is easily replaceable. Low profile anchor loops provide a flat surface that makes the pannier a good seat at the campfire. Crafted with 1.5mm aluminum and welded/stainless steel rivet construction these sturdy panniers are available in 31 and 38 liter sizes. Structure: The Touratech mounting system is the strongest in the industry with German-built 18mm diameter tube racks with 2mm thick sidewalls that form a rectangular "hoop" on both sides of the bike to support the panniers. The Innovative cross-braced rack system bolts directly to the motorcycle sub-frame transferring the pannier load directly to the bikes chassis. Mounting systems from other manufacturers emphasize a "minimalist" look when the boxes are off the bike. The sacrifice, inherent with those designs, is the compromised safety and reliability that often results in critical failures. Pannier racks are available in electro-polished stainless steel, or standard black powdercoated steel. Quick Removal: Touratech Zega Pro panniers attach to the steel mounting racks using heavy-duty composite and steel mounting brackets in four locations. This design offers a very secure fitting and can be quickly released to take the boxes off Waterproof: All Touratech panniers have a deep groove aluminum interface with silicone seal. I have had my 2013 BMW F800GS since September of 2012, and have since put 25k miles on it (and counting). It has proved to be a true all-rounder that excels at every task you put it to. Whether it is commuting, canyon carving, eating up freeway miles, packed to the brim for camping, single track, or fire roads, it seems to always be in its element. The only real complaint I have is the stock suspension, and it could use a little more POWER. For most people it is probably adequate. The specs can be deceiving, because it is an extremely versatile little Rotax with power and torque in every nook and cranny of the rev range. However, when you load it up with gear and try to do freeway speeds up steep inclines you can definitely feel the limitation.
