  1. 1 review

These incredible compact lights put out a whopping 3,030 lumens per light while drawing only 35 watts. For comparison, the average 55 watt halogen puts out about 700–900 lumens. The D2s are available in a dual beam Driving pattern that includes a nine degree spot and 18 degree wide in the same optic for long distance throw with good horizontal spread. A 30 degree “wide” beam is also available. We generally recommend the Driving beam pattern for most motorcycle applications as they project far down the road as well as light up the ditches. Rigid Industries is now offering a "Pendant switch" that is motorcycle friendly. Great for the handlebars (see related items below) and a big improvement for motorcycle applications as compared to the included "dash-style" switch. The new Pendant switch is self-containedm waterproof switch, very durable, and mounts on the left hand control for quick access when you need to turn off theD2 lights for oncoming traffic. We have several types of mounts available including our custom crash bar mounts, as well as our model-specific triple tree mounts for KTM bikes. The Amber covers are a great addition for daytime visibility by others as well as fog and dust conditions. These simply snap on and off and can be removed in seconds. CHECK OUT THE RECENT MEMBER REVIEW IN THE BMW MOA MAGAZINE and the REVIEW IN ADVENTURE RIDER MAGAZINE BY BILL DRAGOO More from Rigid Rigid Industries is proud to present the latest in LED lighting. The D2 is our new compact light that packs quite the punch with light output. Producing over 3,000 lumens and only using 35 watts of power. The new D2 is the brightest compact auxiliary light available to date. With temperature sensing circuitry, the light unit will regulate between 80–100% power to prevent damage and keep the LED optimized for the environmental conditions. With no airflow the temperature sensors will automatically dim the light roughly 10%, virtually imperceptible to the eye. This temp sensing circuitry was developed to help protect the customers investment. Features: Unbreakable polycarbonate lens Cast aluminum housing Plug and play wiring harness with switch 50,000+ hour lifespan Zero UV emissions IP68 certified No hot spots No vibration or bouncing beams 100% optically clear lens No warm up—instant on/off ROHS compliant Over/under voltage protection Integrated thermal management system Big Power in a Small Package: The Rigid Industries D2 LED Light is one of the most versatile lighting products on the market today. This six LED light can be used for virtually any lighting application - from off-road to agriculture. At only 34.5 watts, the D2 produces 3,030 raw lumens of light. Its compact size and shape allow the D2 LED Light to fit almost anywhere. Specter Optics: This Specter Optics System is our most advanced optics system yet. Our engineering team designed the six LED Specter system to project light not only far, but also wide. Rather than a conical beam, the Specterprojects an oblong beam that is wider than it is tall. It directs the light to right where it’s needed, instead of sacrificing light to the ground or an empty sky. Driving Pattern: The Driving version of our Specter Optics System projects a more concentrated beam to provide visibility at greater distances while still acting as a medium flood light. This ability to act as both a long distance spot and wide area light makes it one of our most popular options. Quality Construction: Rigid’s circuitry were designed in-house to be more powerful, be more efficient, and generate less heat. Their durable cast aluminum housings feature custom, over-sized heat sinks which keep the temperature down and allow our LEDs to run cooler and brighter. They give our housings a high quality powder-coat and finish them off with a custom-molded rubber seal and an unbreakable, scratch resistant lens. Rigid Industries LED lights are engineered to withstand whatever you, the road, or nature can throw at them.
