For KTM Adventures 990 (07-13) with dual front brake lines (stock) and NON ABS only. (For now, send us an email if you want to see these for ABS 990's and or 950 models that will require front brake link kits. As simple and clean as a high fender kit can come. The high fender kits have been attempted throughout the years and none of them have been a remotely clean installation. Rottweiler Performance has now created this simple kit of fork guard plates and hardware that does the job perfectly and with the quality you can expect from only Rottweiler Performance. A prototype has been running flawlessly on our 990 Adventure for the last 2 1/2 years and after many requests to make the kit, we finally decided to put it out. The basic kit (no KTM plastic or hardware) consists of: 2) 6061 billet fork guard plates 2) Silicone cushion 304 stainless steel brake line clamps 4) 18-8 stainless button head screws 2) 18-8 stainless flat head screws 2) Stainless nylock nuts 2) fine adjustment zip ties Full kit consists of: All of the hardware above + 1) KTM Super Moto Front Fender White 1 each) L+R 85cc KTM fork guards 4) KTM Front Fender Screws / M6X20 shouldered 4) Spacer Bushings for SM Front Fender

This is the very system that started a revolution. The Rottweiler Intake system has lit the KTM community on fire with grade AA results accross board and continues to deliver. To start, you can expect from 8 to 12 horspower gains, but it doesn't end there. With the addition of a 'Snap Out' bracket on Adventure models, swapping pre-filters becomes a 45 second affair with one screwdriver. Once the intake is installed and the extra room is now available, Adventure owners can also benifit from 128 extra cubic inches of storage space with the 'Dog House' storage box. On all models, you can also expect a 6 lb (3.6 kg) weight savings with the removal of the SAS and Evap canisters systems using our SAS Stage 1-3 systems. That's almost another horsepower in weight savings alone. These do not come pre oiled for shipping purposes. We reccomend No Toil Oiling kits for both our intake filters and pre filters. Benefits of the Rottweiler Intake System: The most cost effective horsepower gains on the market. About $30 to $40 (US) per HP vs $100 to $200 for an aftermarket exhaust. Dramatically reduces the jerky 'on-off' throttle response of the big twin. Mountain roads and tight traffic become a joy again. Full tri layer foam element on all sides of the filter including the top, not just one side, aiding in air velocity optimization and overall filter surface area. The outer layers of foam provide optimum filtration and load-up capacity while the inner layer is made of special self-extinguishing filter foam. Together, they five the best combination for air flow, engine protection and safety. Specially made 'Super Tough Nylon' base plate weighs in at 1/2 that of aluminum material and significantly reduces the transfer of engine. No tools needed to change or remove the filter. Removed in seconds. Weight reduction of 1.6kg (3.5lbs) just by replacing the stock airbox with the Rottweiler Intake. Removal of the stock airbox frees up an enormous amount of space in the front of the filter than can be used for accessory storage like HID ballasts, ignition controllers and such that were previously difficult to package. Serviceability of the throttle bodies becomes drastically less difficult to get to. High quality lifetime Buna N 'X' rings seal off the throttle bodies in 4 places. Adds a wicked sound that while docile at cruising speeds, barks with authority when cracked open. All necessary hardware included. Suggestions upon installation: It is advised but not mandatory to remove the emissions hardware when installing a Rottweiler Intake System. The part where the Secondary Air Injection (SAS or SAI) attaches to the stock air-box is removed with this installaton and if the installer wants to keep the SAS/SAI on the bike (rare), you will need to attach a small filter to the leftover hose. See our SAS Stage kits for block off kits.

-2.5 lbs reduction in weight. The SAS Stage 3 kit is the most comprehesive emissions removal package we offer. No computer work to be performed here. Simply plug and play. Every piece you will need to completely remove the emissions hardware and add throttle body tunability as well. NOTE: To install this kit on a KTM Adventure 1190 2013-present, you must remove the throttle bodies and that is best done when installing an intake at the same time. IF balancing the throttle bodies on that model is not something you think you will ever do, we reccomend our SAS Stage 2 kit for that model. The SAS Stage 3 kit includes: For the SAS removal: 2 Rottweiler Performance SAS Plates 1 FI light dongle to stop the FI light from coming on when the SAS valve is removed 1 Billet aluminum plug to close hole in the air-box 1 Constant tension spring for the billet plug For the canister removal (Canisterectomy): 1 FI Light dongle to stop the FI light from coming on when the canister valve is removed 6' of Dakar style Tygon hose for running new fuel tank breather lines 2' of dakar style Tygon hose for running new throttle body sinchronizing hoses (See option below to add and save $10 on a Motion Pro 'Sync Pro' throttle body balancing tool) 2 thumb screw vacuum line caps 4-8mm spring clips for sinchronizing hoses 4-8mm (5/16) nylon hose guides

-16 (7.25kg) lbs reduction in weight. The absolute pinnacle in high quality single side out (SSO) exhaust for the KTM Adventure 950 and 990 is finally here from the leaders in high quality products and results. A no compromise, purpose built system for the true adventure enthusiast looking for the sought after 2 into 1 configuration with the highest in quality components, fit and finish. Highlights: Over 16 lbs (7.25kg) in high / rearward weight reduction. Handling is dramatically improved. Properly designed mid pipe with the correct area, convergence angles and exit tube calculations. This means NO restriction. U.S. spec, premium 304 stainless steel, heli arc welded under a full purge of argon gas. (something rarely performed in production exhaust) This totally eliminate what is called 'sugaring', an inner rough and heavily scaled surface protrusion inhibiting exhaust flow commonly found on the inside most other systems. Mated to a Yoshimura 1190 Adventure muffler that is designed for large CC single sided sound reduction. 18-8 stainless steel hardware included. Choose carbon or stainless construction. Additional DB killer included. Add the necessary room for our auxilary fuel cell (coming soon - email us here to get on the waiting list) Coming soon: Already have a dual Akro or LV system, but want to convert to a single side out exhaust? SSO mid pipes for Akropovic and Leo Vince dual to single conversions) Send an email here to get on the waiting list.

We didn't sit on our butts after creating the #1 and only triple layer foam intake system with the easiest mantenance on the market. We took it 60 steps further by giving yoiu the ability to swap pre-filters in under 60 seconds flat. This little device is what showed the ADV market that Rottweiler Performance was not a one trick pony. Put it this way, it actually installs itself! How? When you do the math, the time it takes to install it (about an hour) vs the time over your life that you will spend removing those 12 horrible bolts, fishing them out of the skid pan when dropped or lost, and the sheer aggrivation taking that glove box off elicits, you will get back countless hours of time to enjoy your trip or just get filter maintenance done faster than you can get your helmet on. Notes: A 3/4" (20mm) drilled hole is required just in the middle of the bottom of the glove box. A cheap step drill is perfect. You can retain the glove box lock if you have one. (Later model Adventures) There is no visible change to the bike or the use of the glove box. It performs exactly the same after installation.

it contains: on Left and one Right mirror mount, two Arrow mirrors (Arrow mirrors are ambidextrous), hardware, sticker and instructions. Fittment: Note that although this mirror kit was designed with adventure bikes in mind, it can be adaptable to many different hand guards as only two drilled 1/4" holes are required and a little imagination. The Adventure aftermarket is full of mirror systems. Most of which fail to do anything very well. If they fold, they vibrate. If they don't vibrate, they don't fold. This is where the Quick Flip Morrors get it all right. Starting with the highest quality billet / glass mirrors available from CRG, Rottweiler Performance then adapted them in the most clever way to the handguards, allowing the user to have is cake and eat it too. With over 4 totally unique positions to choose from, the Quick Flip Arrow Kit allows the rider to choose their own combination of mirror protection and visibility. With the Quick Flip Arrow kit you can position them inside the handguards and still have a good amount of rear viewing. Something no other mirror kit delivers. Splitting lanes? A quick flip of the mirrors and you are as narrow and unobstructed as you'll ever get, and the mirrors will reset exacly where you had them due to the internal detents. Highpoints: Little to no vibration Far less wind buffeting due to getting rid of the high mirrors Low profile gives great center / rear viewing when fully extended Does not inhibit your view of the trail like high upright mirrors. Folds in saving the mirror is the bike is dumped for minimal damage 4+ Totally unique mirror positions Clearest high quality polished glass available on the market Rugged billet aluminum construction Good rear view, even when folded in the protection position

This system eliminates the stock air box which is prone to allowing dust to enter the engine through the lid seal or the filter itself. This Stage 3 system includes the filter setup itself, a new rear velocity stack and fuel dongles to eliminate the O2 sensors. Other stages are available with more goodies or less depending on your wants and needs.

Amazing machine. I've noticed its not as high quality as a BMW but its definitely built for my riding style. KTM has come short on my deal and hasn't activated KTM my ride, hill assist, quick shift, or heated grips. They don't know how to make these options work. It's been a month sense I bought the bike and I haven't got to fully use my bike yet.

Saying that I am in love with this bike would be an understatement. Out of all the motorcycles I have owned throughout the years, the 1290 SA has been my favorite. Finally, a production tail tidy for the KTM Adventure 950 and 990! This is unlike most tail tidys in the way that it is completely plug and play. Simply unplug and slide out the massive and ugly stock rear tail section and slide the Rottweiler Tail Tidy right in. Plug it in and that's it! Ultra bright integrated LED running lights, brake lights, turns signals and even the license plate light are integrated right into the frame. Totally water proof and ultra durable with a textured powder-coated finish. Want to retain your stock blinker lights if you are concerned about width legality in your area? No problem, simply remove your stock blinkers (2 nuts) and bolt them right up to the available tabs on the frame. Even that part is plug and play too! Just use the stock connector for the blinkers and our connector for the brake lights. Pre-wired plug and play straight to stock connectors. NO WIRING OR WIRING KNOWLEDGE NEEDED. All pin crimp ends are hand soldered for safety and durability. Ultra bright integrated LED lights. Even in the day time they are blindingly visable to ensure safe operation. License plate light, turn signals, running lights and brake lights integrated and sealed into the frame. Option to use your stock signals as well if legality of the width of the turn signals is a concern in your area. Ultra tough black textured powder-coated frame. (Identical to the black unpainted reat fenders found on 'R' models) 30 minute install. Hand made with care in the USA by Rottweiler Performance. Fits U.S. motorcycle Plate.
  12. I first found out about Rottweiler Performance from Facebook after I was about to get an 1190 R sometime around Dec of '13. I didn't end up getting that bike but two friends, Alan Clinkingbeard and Tolga Basol, did and they both got kitted out with new air intakes (and other stuff) from Rottweiler Performance. We did our New Year's Baja trip last year and we kept passing and getting passed by the Rottweiler shop ride crew and I was absolutely astounded at Christian Parker's (Rottweiler's lead man) bike from how it sounded to how I saw it perform, etc... I tried keeping up with him for about a half mile and soon realized that was folly It reminded me of the time I tried to keep up with Jon Beck on his 990 coming out of Mike's Sky Rancho. So this whole Rottweiler KTM thing was really a big part of me choosing this project bike in the first place, so you can imagine how excited I was to learn that Christian Parker wanted to help us out. I eventually did get to ride Alan's 1190 R off road at our Troy Meadows ride last year and was blown away. Then in Death Valley last December I got to ride Tolga's 1190 R and was equally impressed but blown away at the roar of that air intake. It sounds like a trophy truck! I originally knew Rottweiler Performance for their air intake systems but have come to realize they do a great deal more of a lot of key KTM aftermarket parts as well and will continue to be in the near future. Today was spent over at Rottweiler's shop going over our shopping list, doing a pre-mod dyno test and then getting a baseline db reading off the stock exhaust. Some photos: Working on a Porsche project A sweet KTM Super Duke 1290 for which Rottweiler makes a cool damper kit Our pre-mod dyno readout shows about 90 hp and 60 ft/lb of torque. We think we can get 7-10 more ponies out of this bike with the new air intake but more importantly shed 28.8 lbs (!) of weight with their "diet parts" kit of a new lithium Antigravity battery, SAS removal, 2 to 1 exhaust. Christian taking some baseline db readings from the bone-stock exhaust. Results were 92 db at 2' and 45 degree angle.

Set your Adventure 950 / 990 free from it's short leash. Introducing the 'Rottweiler Performance Endurocell' extended range fuel cell. Fitting perfectly in the exact same circular space the left hand muffler once occupied (see our single side out muffler options) guarantees that this fuel cell will not clash with your aftermarket pannier system. As an added bonus, the optional Quick Detach hardware kit will give your Endurcell the ability to be removed by hand in less than 10 seconds so its not hanging around when not needed or to help fill a buddy. NOTE: The Endurocell requires an SSO (Single Side Out) muffler system. This is a kit that converts your dual muffler system into a 'Y' pipe out the right hand side of the bike. If you do not already have one, see the options to add on below or see here. Rottweiler Performance fabricates hands down the absolute highest quality 'Y' pipe SSO systems available for the 950 / 990 KTM Adventure. Add 35-50 miles to your ride within a 10 second attachment. (With Quick Disconnect Kit) Two sizes available: 1 gallon (3.79L) or 1.3 gallon (4.92L) Made in the U.S.A. and beautifully ARC welded by hand by skilled craftsman. Easier than your stock fuel tank to fill. No tiny fuel caps in strange places. Stainless hardware Ties into your lower crossover fuel line with a check valve. No back flowing or messy fill ups. Everything you need to easily complete the installation included. Nothing left out. No removal of any main fuel tank. Just drop the skid pan, turn off the spigots on the stock tank and splice in the barbed 'T' fitting. Build your own Endurocell! Listed below are your options with explanation. Endurocell Capacity: Available in two sizes, 1 gallon (3.79L) or 1.3 gallon (4.92L). Choose between a smaller package, or a longer range. Quick Disconnect: Add a Quick Disconnect hardware kit to your Endurocell. Remove it when it's not needed in under 10 seconds, use it to help fuel a buddy, or leave it disconnected as a 'reserve capacity' tank for emergencies only. A billet fuel line stow perfectly holds the dry break fuel line clean of any dirt or debris when not in use. Fuel cap filter: Add a fuel filter at the cap to keep dirt or debris from entering the fuel tank. If you get dirty, you'll want this. Just pull it inside out and smack it around to clean it. BRP Fuel Cap: Your Endurocell comes with a perfectly good cap, but a beautiful BRP billet fuel cap adds that nice final touch that looks trick. Single Side Out Exhaust: Auxiliary fuel cells require the conversion to a single side out exhaust system. Rottweiler offers the finest range of SSO 'Y' pipes and mufflers. See here for more information. NOTE: The first run of Rottweiler Performance Endurocells are being fabricated on a limited first run basis. All sales are first come, first served. If you purchase an Endurocell after they have run out, you have the choice of being early in line for the second run or a full refund. Second run fabrication may be 2 to 3 weeks behind the last sold first run unit.
