  1. Getting myself one of these Voyager Pro gps units soon and pretty excited! Especially undertaking this LAB2V planning. I'm very interested in the buddy feature where you can see your friends (who have the same unit) on-screen. REVER has this feature too and it's how I found @motochefarwi at TOD last year although that does require cell phone signal whereas the Voyager Pro relies on antennas that have about a 1.5 mile radius but depends mostly on line of sight. I got to demo one at last year's Mojave Rally and I was very interested. I actually still have the antenna on my bike! It will also sync via Bluetooth to your phone allowing you access to your music, messages and phone dialing. I already have a tachometer so I can see that but it would be nice to try and integrate the tach and engine temp features. That's more of a small-bike thing though as this is designed to completely replace whatever existing display is on your dirtbike. I saw they sell a thermostat but it's not something I plan to integrate at this time. As far as mounts go, I'm really not sure how I'll do it. They have a RAM mount accessory and I could easily do that to the handlebars like I have with my current Garmin but that tends to vibrate a lot and move no matter how tight I screw it down. I'd like it above my current oem display but not really sure how to best install it. We'll see. But here's what really strikes me most about this unit from TrailTech, it's that it's a unit designed and built from the ground up for OFF ROAD USE! The screen is VERY easy to see, even in bright light. The tracks and waypoints, etc... are all easy-peasy like we all got together to decide how to best to a GPS for our type of use. I'll post up more later once I get it installed and then as I use it. What are your thoughts? I'd love to hear from those who have this unit already.
  2. Hi Guys & girls, I've been having some issues with my Touratech IMO 100. Currently it's not displaying speed, which is not due to the IMO but because the electronic pickup is broken. I tried to change it out by a bolt-on unit from KOSO, but because the interval is different from the TT one (3 pulses per revelation instead of 1) the IMO won't display speed correctly. Dividing wheel size doesn't help either, because the IMO can't keep up with the pulses above 70kph and just displays 0kph instead. Other than above mentioned issue the IMO has been resetting itself lately, making me enter time, wheel size and some other parameters every other time I start up the bike. It might be related to the incompatible speedo pickup since that's when the problem started, so for now I've disconnected the pickup again. Will see if this helps. Getting somewhat ahead of myself with this issue I've been looking around for a replacement dashboard/rally computer. I could probably and quite simply replace the current unit with Touratech's latest offering. But at €350,- there are probably alternatives. For example, a Trailtech unit. Depending on the choosen unit this might end up being as expensive or even more expensive, but it will offer more functionality. And maybe there are other solutions as well, which I'm not aware of yet. So here's my question to you: any suggestions or insights on replacing the current IMO? I would like it to have at least the same functions as my current IMO (according to the TT website), but the speedo part of it all is obviously more important: Speedo mode with daily trip odometer Simultaneous display of: Speed Daily trip odometer Time of day Odometer Rallye computer mode Simultaneous display of: Total distance covered, can be edited via remote control in steps of 10m, 50m or 100m or be edited at IMO-100R50 Rallye directly using Partial distance (stage) can be reset via remote control or at IMO-100R50 Rallye directly Time of day Total distance covered or stage with large or small display Thanks!
  3. So I took a little swim... and now my gauge cluster is acting up. I took it apart and cleaned the motherboard with electronics cleaner but it has only gotten worse to the point where its not working at all now. Used Versys speedos run over 200USD which seems high to me. I was thinking about trying to swap to using a Trail Tech Vapor or Striker or something that rally guys are using. I'm open to any suggestions on how to approach this, so please share if you have any experiences with aftermarket speedos/odos/computers. I have a rally in two weeks, so I'd like to have something working by then, but I could get by with using my Garmin 78 if need be.

I've been riding for for about 28 years on many different genres of bikes - from dirt, to cruiser, to crotch rocket. I have to say, this bike is by far the best I have had the pleasure of owning and riding. It's versatility, quality, and capability coupled with it's reasonable price point make it a win win!

Handlebar mounted on/off switch with bullet terminals. This rocker style toggle switch features internals custom designed by Trail Tech for extremely stable and smooth operation. High current contacts handle more power than other switches (will not melt). 10" Pigtail, 3/4" wide.
