Administrators Eric Hall Posted May 28, 2017 Administrators My Rides (3) Report Share Posted May 28, 2017 So I was filling up the bike in Baker on Friday on my way back from Utah and the right side fuel filler cap just fell off! I looked at where it broke and was surprised to see it's a very thin piece of what looks to be low quality pot metal. But the interesting part is I don't really blame KTM, I blame the CARB for mandating the fuel recovery nozzles on the gas pumps even though the EPA phased them out years ago because 1: they largely don't work and 2: 70% of cars have their own vapor recovery systems. The larger nozzles push on the filler caps and they will break over time. So I may try to get my hands on a set of these from KTMTwins: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
