Small details left, plus some bike break in to go.

Got all the gear on at once today, may get some new goggles but that's about it.

31 lbs of gear before adding 100oz of water and tool roll to back back. Not as heavy as my 1 piece race suit, but gonna be taxing in 100+ degree weather.

Gear list
Compression base layer
Garne SG-12 boots
Mobius knee braces
Fly F16 pants and Jersey
Leatt GPX neck brace
Leatt 5.5 roost guard
Klim knack-pack
HJC CL-X7 Helmet
Fox bomber gloves 38e829cd7168efe0e6fffadfd4b79153.jpg766d4e4d4d05f86edaae1d5b3f9ca6f7.jpg20ebb26abb87e407af35045eb6317871.jpg

Great dirt ride this morning. 90 miles between Adelanto and Kramer Junction with some exploring mixed in. Played for about 3 hours and went from 78F to 100F as I loaded up. Too bad I reset my GPS trip after the first 20 or 30 miles(operator error).

#projectmediumXLADV ran great, few tweaks but feeling optimistic about a 540 mile race in 2 weeks.

Heading up to Big Bear with a buddy tomorrow b40b29f621db375c5da707a83cd1f5f9.jpg2920745942fa6392da2541ba9cd7bbd2.jpg207abec2e57324e4c9068c4d49617d23.jpg70d3bd4ab1398929fba970375a8a1a69.jpg577c62dfd7e40c8180c7a104f51ce8ce.jpg

Motoz sent me one of their Tractionator Desert H/T rear tires which I've never tried before. I have run the front one and loved it. It not the rear. This tire will last me all five days for the Baja Rally as I saw it perform similarly last year for two other big bike riders.

Looking forward to seeing how this holds up. Are we bringing spare tires/tubes to Mexico?

You run 21/18 wheels right? If so we may be able to use some of my spares from Vegas to Reno, save the $$on purchase if you don't use em

      Coming Oct 10, 2016.  The BAJA RALLY™!

I think we got four guys so far on big bikes entered and a special secret guest rider yet to be named.

      Brian Englund (KTM 950SE)
      Casey Hilliard (HP2)
      Lawrence Hacking (CRF1000L)
      Keith Billings (KTM 990R)
Chris Ambrosio (riding KTM 640 but not considered "adv" class for some reason)

I will be down there covering each stage live and will try and post up photos and stories from each bivouac.

I will post a tracking link shortly.
