How to plan a big adventure

Recommended Posts

Hi all!

My name is Nora and I have a YouTube channel called Adventurism. I traveled from Amsterdam to Bali last year and vlogged about the experience almost daily. Now I am planning a new trip to go South through Africa and I am sharing the planning process on my channel and I thought a few of you might be interested.

So here is the first episode. I hope you like it.

If you have any ideas on topics or people to interview, let me know! I'm open to all ideas.

Lots of love,

Nora

Nora!  Thanks so much for posting up!  I recall finding your videos and IG last year I think.  I recall this one in particular where you camped next to some kind of volcanic crater.  Really enjoy following your stuff.

Hi Eric,

Yes, that was me :D, it was a gas crater in Turkmenistan lit by Russian engineers 40 years ago.
Very impressive camping spot, one I will never forget.

If you have any ideas for upcoming episodes, let me know!

Cheers,

Nora

Kind of a retrospect video here to give you some flavor.  Nora is impressive not just for her videography skills but I think because she's made some amazing attempts at riding that bike of hers off road, so a significant level of success compared to most travelers.  This, of course, means she's gotten to see WAY more interesting things.

How much heat was coming up from there?

When standing downwind from the edge, a lot! To hot to stand next to the edge.

But upwind you could get really close and look into the crater.

Still the biggest barbecue I have ever seen
