Martin Shirley Posted November 5, 2019 My Ride Report Share Posted November 5, 2019 Bought the new (2019) Scrambler 1200XC model and had my first Off-road ride a couple of weeks ago. The bike handles very well with the right tires (dressed her with Motoz Rallz) on rocky and sandy fire roads. The bike is a torque monster and feels much lighter than her weight suggests. I'm coming from a 2015 KTM 690 Enduro R, so I was surprised by how nimble the big scrambler is in the dirt; she is incredibly stable at speed and loves to be hustled around (Rowhers fire road). I haven't dropped her yet, but not looking forward to picking her as she is a beast when pushing her around in the driveway. I'm keeping my 2018 KLX 250 for the rougher, more technical rides, but wouldn't hesitate to take the Triumph on most rough fire roads.
Administrators Eric Hall Posted November 11, 2019 Administrators My Rides (3) Report Share Posted November 11, 2019 Great looking bike for sure! Ernie raced it at the Mexican 1000 too. Impressive
