Administrators Eric Hall Posted December 5, 2021 Administrators My Rides (3) Report Share Posted December 5, 2021 So my brand new boots I got summer ‘20 for my trip pretty much immediately started smelling horrible. Let’s face it, your t-shirt will stink the very next day unless you shower and change for a clean one. Imagine your stinky feet simmering inside hot, wet boots day in and day out. You can of course try washing them as in with warm water and a mild soap but you never really get rid of that funk. I went old school and asked my mom and she said “try vinegar.” So I cleaned them up with warm water and a mild detergent first and then did a rinse with a vinegar solution for about 20 minutes. I tried to dry them as fast as possible outside in some indirect sunlight and the good news is that funk is gone! I also had a show shop add some leather cream and polish because the warm water will dry out the leather.
