Videos of Big Bikes Being Ridden Well!

I posted this in ride reports but it deserves a cross post.  I was the biggest bike there that weekend and it was the best two days of riding I've ever had.  Lots of sand but it was straight for the most part so not as difficult as you might expect.

This is part 1 with another to come shortly.

Nerb doing the Simpson desert on his loaded 1190 R.  That's balls!  You can just feel the fatigue too.  Huge props.

I have done many sections like that on the GSA but not for that far.  Gotta have a fresh rear tire , stay loose and plenty of throttle.

This one had be cracking up.  Sand can be so damned fun at times while also being a completely miserable twat at the same time.  haha

Stuart Ball and his gf Sarah Taylor just did like two weeks of Simpson crossings recently.  She did it solo, then together, then Stuart attempted a double crossing in record time.  He made it but didn't break the record (23 hours and change).  I'm trying to get them on here to share their story

Sounds pretty nuts.

I key eyeing the WR trips that are over there to cross the Simpson.  Even flying from Alaska, I'm pretty sure I could pull it off to fly over, battle jetlag, cross with the group, goof around on a rental for a few days and then fly back home in time for work over my weekend.  (My weekends are two weeks long.)  haha

I have been reviewing one of my videos and I think you're going to love it.

You will be able to almost "feel" what I feel when rally racing the big HPr...

Did that guy who passed you at 17:37 go the wrong way or on a different course?  Also, what make is that chart holder and cap heading readout?  Also, you should get one of the new GoPro's with the stabilization ;)  Once again, great riding!

Haha! That guy is a friend of mine with his KTM EXC 500. He is damn fast, but get lost so often and easily.... he started in front of me and got lost, then overtook me and missed the right turn, getting lost again :D:D:D:D

The roadbook holder is an F2R RB750, and there is no cap heading, they are tripmasters from ICO (ICO Rallye MAX), they only work as a speedo and odometer (well, much more, but not CAP on those ones, although they have a model that does CAP (ICO Rallye MAX-G)).

And yes... I have to get the newest GoPro Hero Session 5.... it is awesome! But I'm in a budget, and I preffer to spend my money on tires and fuel rather than on cameras! :P:P:P

Cheers!
