brian.havoc1 89 My Rides (2) Report post Posted December 27, 2014 Those of you who make visits to Baja a routine, which company do you use for your coverage? Why? Does that work for a limited time, or do you have to pay for extended periods? Can it be set up ahead of time? Progressive has told me they cover next to nothing once I head south of the border, so I'm thinking ahead.
Kevin 22 My Rides (2) Report post Posted December 29, 2014 http://www.bajabound.com/ I have used Bajabound a couple of times, very easy to acquire, lots of extra options for coverage, and not too expensive. Their website is also a good source of info on Baja.
Eric Hall 3,728 My Rides (2) Report post Posted January 3, 2015 I used to use Bajabound but for whatever reason, policies got REALLY expensive and I shopped around this last time and ended up with Lewis and Lewis. I used to pay around $30 for a trip of a week or less but now it's like $60 or more. The Mexican govt upped the liability from around $50k to $350k and that has something to do with it but the same was in effect on my last Baja trip and it wasn't as much.
