Baja Rally 2015

Recommended Posts

Erez may have had trouble; he's lagging pretty far behind.

Quinn Cody in the lead w/Lyndon Poskitt a close second just outside of the finish line at El Coyote.

Jenny Morgan still 15th and only 30 min back from the leader.  Not bad at all.

Day 2

So far it says Kent Choma is at the finish, but his icon is opaque so maybe he is a dnf or had mechanical issues.

Next is Steve Hengeveld with Quinn Cody right on his heels.

Lyndon in third.

Jeremy LeBreton (AltRider CEO) in 8th and looking good!

Jenny Morgan is way back today for some reason and Cameron Steele is off the course and looks to be on the highway headed south.

Fielding questions to ask riders at the finish line!  What do you think?

  • So just how many Starbucks are there along the Baja Rally course?
  • What type of whale foreskin is that suit made of anyway?
  • Baja lattes:  leche o leche de soya?
  • What percent of the route would you say is standing vs sitting?
  • Big bike friendly?
  • Would you like to see the big bikes out here as a class next year?

Today looks like Hengeveld and Cameron Steele are together in 1st/2nd but they both took a wrong turn!  If they correct soon, they'll be fine but Lyndon is in 3rd and he's a good navigator.

Jeremy LeBreton (AltRider ceo) is in FOURTH!  Go Jeremy!

I had SUCH a great time at this event.  I'd recommend you try to make it down there next year for part of the race.  I think we'll do a big bike associated ride where we follow the course, meet the racers, get to see them on the course and see some cool sights along the way.  Working w/Lawrence Hacking on that.

Had a really great ride back too on some dirt.  I did Compadre trail and it is MUCH more torn up than ever before.  LOTS more sand.  So basically it was a LOT more fun :)

Check out my video!
