Nortwestrider
I can't be the only one that uses his/her NC for ADV riding !!. I have put almost 30,000 miles on mine in 2.5 years.6,000 of that was a trip to Alaska that included a run up the Dalton.Another 1,000 miles was doing the WABDR and back and the rest has been commuting and and weekend trips.I have done the Touratech rally 2 years and a 2,500 mile trip down the coast to SF and back.I don't think Honda intended this bike to do what I have done. But as the old saying go's " if it looks like a duck " !!!. Daniel-O
Well, I don't own a similar bike, but I do like your enthusiasm. What trailer is that? It looks fairly interesting. Thank you, Dan

MacroPolo
Hi, I'm slowly converting my NC700X to be more adventurous. (So far I've fitted Knight design lowered footpegs, Protaper Evo Adventure High bars, pivot-type 2inch bar risers (I'm 1.97m / 6'6"), Givi handlebar protectors, running lights and Continental TKC 80 tyres. Fender extender still to be fitted.) I'm also on the lookout for a good skid plate. What brand do you have on your machine? It looks interesting with the tubular side protection. Cheers, Marco
smithb9
I still need to add a skid plate and make some suspension mods for my NC to be fully "adv ready", but it's already seen its fair share of dirt roads and some trails it probably has no business being on. Planning on the COBDR next year. Edited August 29, 2016 by smithb9
