Administrators Eric Hall Posted November 10, 2015 Administrators My Rides (3) Report Share Posted November 10, 2015 South Africa, Dec 3-5 Honda has confirmed the date of the CRF1000L Africa Twin press launch suggesting a release date for the much-anticipated motorcycle will be following not too long afterwards. 2016-Honda-Africa-Twin-CRF1000L-action-hi-res-05 The press launch will be taking place in South Africa between 3-5 December and test riders will be able to experience the motorbike in both on and off-road scenarios. As ever, ABR will be bringing you real-time updates as we get to grips with the machine over the course of the launch and you can expect a full and comprehensive review in our Jan/Feb issue. The Africa Twin will be touting a 1000cc compact parallel-twin engine with 70kW power, 98Nm torque and a claimed 93.8bhp and will be available in three options; a standard option, an ABS version with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC) and also an option.
