I would check on your bike the ignition switch wiring harness where it comes from the key ignition switch and routes along the frame at the steering head. This is known as a failure point as the harness is pinched and without movement can cause internal wire breakage. Check this ! In this pic I have made a relief cut to allow wire to move freely.
