FeralCat2Wheels Posted August 19, 2016 Report Share Posted August 19, 2016 A very specific question: which stock seat is more low-seated, the 1190 R 1-pc rally or the 1190 2-pc touring? - There is no (clear) comparison of these 2 stock seats online. Dealers near me don't have a 1190 regular on their floor or a 2-pc stock seat for me to just go try on for comparison. As you may know, the 1190 R comes with the 1-piece rally seat (seat height 890mm), while the 1190 regular comes with the 2-piece touring (lower or higher position at 860mm or 875mm). - . My leg length is borderline for my 1190 R. Tippy-toeing is not safe for maneuvering slow uneven roads on a top heavy bike. And I do not want to do any lowering to compromise its suspension.
