good dog
First I'll readily admit I'm a fan of the Klim gear, where before I'd have multiple jackets for different weather conditions, now I have one Klim that covers all the conditions in my region. Granted other regions may not be able to do this. They may present sticker shock to some but when I added up the costs of my other jackets I had for a riding season, the Klim came under those. Started with the first generation Latitude and currently have the current Badlands, pants will come this year. Couple of new jackets slowly leaking to the great interweb, although they've been previewed at the trade shows and latest motorcycle shows they are expected to be available early 2017, think February. Consider the new Kodiak a tailored or European cut to the existing Badlands. Same features just a little less baggy so to speak Then there's the replacement to the Overland the new Carlsbad. Looks a little more tailored but it does feature a built in (removable?) kidney belt, similarly armoured, sleeve vents near the wrists, two vertical front chest vents and two vertical back vents. Not much else is known at this time. I'd expect prices to be similar to the Badlands and Overland but like most new products they'll likely be a little more expensive. Administrators Eric Hall Posted November 29, 2016 Administrators My Rides (3) Report Share Posted November 29, 2016 Klim is badass. I have the Overland jacket/pant combo, the Dakar pant, Dakar & Mojave gloves, Element gloves, their windbreaker and Nac Pak hydration kit. Never had a bad word about their stuff or their service. As good as it gets. Let us know when you learn more...

Have the Badlands Spec Jacket upgraded with Xergo Elbow Armor, and the Overland Pants that I picked up on sale for $250 closeout with T5 Evo Pro Knee and hip pads. I absolutely love this jacket and pant combo. Now, I'm salivating over the Mesh Adventure Rally combo--but that will come with Divorce papers

good dog
Has anyone seen this Kodak jacket in person? I'm intrigued...Alon, we'll be able to see them at the bike show in February at the CNE grounds (Energy Centre). Klim will be there as a stand alone according to my local dealer. Klim were at the snowmobile show as a stand alone booth so it makes sense to do the same for the motorcycle show. Don't think they'll be at the International Centre show in January, but dealers like GP Cycle might have their stock by then and bring it (save taxes). General release for the new Klim gear for us Canadians to dealers is late January early February. Edited December 10, 2016 by good dog

kojack06
I just treated myself to one of the new Klim Inferno base layer jackets in the green color. I think the new olive drab green really looks sharp(being retired older Army, I still like it). Of course, the Inferno needs to be field tested and reviewed during a winter ride at Big Bend National Park... good dog
This is the catalogue for the new Klim motorcycle products for 2017, with pricing, this is where I got the early information about the Carlsbad and Kodiak jackets that a dealer shared with me, it was for use in booking orders. Details are sparse but expect them to be available late January early February when dealers get their booking orders. PierreADV Posted January 16, 2017 My Rides (2) Report Share Posted January 16, 2017 The guys at KLIM are the absolute best. They've been kind enough to believe in my Youtube channel, they provided me with a Latitude suit, which I've used for both touring AND offroad, and I have to say it's quite possibly the best suit I've ever had the pleasure to wear.Right now I'm currently working on a long term-review of the Latitude suit, but in the meantime, you can check this:
