I have worn them in the desert in 95 degrees F all they way down to 18 degrees F with a robust mid layer and base layer. A bit stiff when new, but after their worn in (12 hours of wear or so) they really starts to get much more comfortable and flexible. Large but not overbearing reflective striping, and good protection at the knees. The only problem I've had is that the KLIM logo on the reflective stripe on one leg has started to peel off.
