Eric Hall 4,527 May 4, 2021 Report Share this review Bought these in summer of 2020 for my Central/South American trip because they're easier to walk in than my mx-style boots (Gaerne SG 12, Alpinestars tech 10). They are in fact great to walk in but I want to be clear these are NOT the type of boots I'd wear for my typical enduro style riding in the American Southwest. They don't offer the same type of protection. They are very much water proof though! I didnt expect them to keep my feet dry but they have in all kinds of heavy rain and water crossings. Kudos to SIDI there. I got them big because your feet will swell when you're riding. I'm a size 11 and got 12.5 which turns out to be too big, lol. My bad. It's not a huge issue though. I should have got a size 12. My only complaint is the insoles have come loose and when I walk downhill they bunch up under my toes; not something I'd expect from a $450 set of boots. However, the build quality is very good. I like the circlip flex point as it's not likely to come loose like in other boots I've seen. They are easy to get in and out of quickly and the buckles and more are all replaceable. Very nice. Soles are labeled "touring" and they're the standard Vibram sole which has worked well and no signs of foot peg abuse so far. https://youtu.be/LxxQFG6tjkY Link to review Share on other sites
