Any word on when they're coming out with their 170?

Hello everyone! My names Westen. Army Veteran and motorcycle addict! I'm new to the Large Adventure Touring bikes but not new to the endure world. I've raced motorcross in the 250 and 450 classes, dipped my toes into the SuperMoto scene as well. Now I ride a K1600 that I bought while stationed in Germany, the wife and I have been to almost every European country on this thing. Now were back in the States. With some talking and begging my wife gave me the go ahead and I just purchased a new R1200GSA/W to keep my big K company. Looking forward to some Adventures! Crossing into Switzerland

We have a few spots left for this weekends class in Gorman, CA which I'll make available to XLADV members for a substantial discount. Class fee includes two days of instruction, food and camping. We finally got good weather here in NC. So, I rode it to work...... :-)

I would prefer a good knobbie for riding off road but unfortunately I commute. 280 miles or so per week. Is there a compromise out there? Say a tkc 80 up front and a Heidenau in the back? What's peoples experience with this issue. I currently can not afford 2 sets of wheels.
