1. CORVA stands for the California Off Road Vehicle Association. They've been around for about 50 years and advocate on our behalf so we can all exercise our RIGHTS to access OUR public lands. They also help 4WD, Quads, 2 stroke and even snowmobiles. I typically have done a fundraiser for them at our November Ken Mooty rally in Death Valley but the ADV Rally moved theirs from Sept to Nov and kind of ruined that for us. I'm working on rescheduling that for late Jan/early Feb. They are just for the State of California and are similar to other groups like AMA, Blue Ribbon Coalition, Stewards of the Sequoia, Stewards of the Sierra, etc... Give some thought to helping them out at their website. In any event, I got to do a livecast interview with Jon from CORVA last night and thought I'd show you that here.
2. Ride report for our 2017 Ken Mooty Memorial! Not sure how many riders this year but it looked about in the 20's. I got up there Thursday evening. A bit of scenic stuff on Friday then some gnarly tracks up Echo Canyon with greedyg , Shane and Vuthy.
