  1. The new Hurricane Dry soft panniers/saddlebags from Rigg Gear are out and they're a big improvement over the last generation; the bags I've used on this trip for the past few years. They sent me two roll bags as well as a dry duffle to try out and I'll get those on the bike with photos very soon. At $299 they're about a fourth the cost of a leading brand and that's a HUGE value considering their utility and longevity. I like the new clasps as they make it much faster/easier to get in and out of your bags let's say when it's dark (one handed), hot, raining, when your friends are waiting for you, etc... They're a big bigger, tougher and have more features I'll be reviewing shortly. Check out my first pics...
