Well I guess I should pry get around to this... Started riding in May 2010 at 29 years old on this. Rode it looking like this. The Adventure bug bit. At the end of August 2010 I got this. Loaded for my first adventure the Wednesday after I got it, waiting for a ferry. How the gear times have changed. Built it into this. Which looks like this in travel mode. Got bored with that, although I'm still hanging onto it, and bought this. And turned it into this. While it's still a work in progress, that's primarily only because I can't leave anything alone. I'm 34 years old, a moderate rider, and live in Yelm, Washington. My name is Josh, and I have an XLADV bike problem...

Took the KTM 1190 for a ride around Squamish BC, for those of you that don't know thats near Whistler BC. We rode around Britannia MInes, and Alice lake. We rode everything from Forest service road to mountain bike trails. Not a lot of pictures as the weather was raining and snowing but I will try to take a few more next time. The big bike did really well. I had a few rocky hill climbs, I was shocked how well it did. And my 10yo Daughter made me this hat to match the new bike. She asks to be driven everywhere on it!

I think that I'm going to get something like this for the limited time I ride just before sun up and after dusk: I do have a clear shield for my Arai, but I use the smoked shield the vast majority of the time.

Me too! At this juncture in time, I can't imagine anything better. It's an absolute beast that take me everywhere i need to go. Thanks for the welcome. Looking forward to contributing when I can.
