I WAS tired of breaking mirrors! I have broken at leas one mirror off of my CX500, Shadow Spirit, Honda VTX, DRZ 400, KTM 450EXC, KTM 950se and now... my 2008 BMW R1200GSA. This sucks. A NEW BMW mirror will cost the same if not more (dealership dependent) than a complete set of Doubletake Mirrors. These mirrors are "guaranteed not to break" and if you do break them, DoubleTake will REPLACE them for FREE.

Exhaust

The 2008 R1200GS Adventure I ride was a great bike for the first 4 years and 20,000 miles... but since the installation of this full system exhaust this thing RIPS! I have owned like 3o bikes over the years and have jetted them, put full systems on them and NO BIKE has shown this big of an improvement from an Exhaust and Fuel Management upgrade! Just fantastic! The Leo Vince head pipe has a cross over which ensures that even if you SMASH a head pipe FLAT at the skid plate level... (story for beer 30) ... you can still ride from Mingle Pass to Vegas and home to the Bay Area of California without a hitch. An aftermarket header with NO Crossover would have proven problematic. This system is the best system I have installed on a bike to date. Bar None. Removing the CAT on an R1200GS, giving it a free flowing can AND modifying the Air Fuel Ratio... you have a winning Combo. More Air + More Fuel + Free Flowing Exhaust = MORE Power!

Bike Accessories

How do you ride your bike without a shift lever? Well... it can be done with a set of ViseGrips, but not recommended. The OEM shift lever on my R1200GSA is a cast aluminum lever with a fixed tip. If this fixed tip comes in contact with a hard object, it can bed or worse yet... BREAK OFF! Then what!?

This Hammerhead shifter is crated with a flexible tip allowing hard objets to flex the head instead of bending or breaking it off. These Hammerhead levers are also available in custom lengths:
-5mm = Short
- OEM Lenght
+5mm size 8 boots
+10mm size 9 boots (what is pictured here)
+15mm for size 11 boots
+20mm for size 13+ boots

Bonus is that is comes in several colors and is less expensive than stock!
