  1. Beware, don't try that at home with your GS. This is only possible with an upside down front fork. ;)

  2. New guy from OC, currently riding a BMW F800GS Adventure and I try to get out for a ride every weekend, usually Sundays, and usually with a fair amount of dirt. Mostly local areas within an hour or 2 slab time. Looks like there's a bunch of us in SoCal here - I'll post a ride thread soon, maybe we can get a group of regulars going. I'm local to the Cleveland Natl Forest, Trabuco area but I also regularly hit Lytle Creek/Cleghorn, Idyllwild area and Palomar Mtn. Below pic is front Nate Harrison Grade at Palomar.

  3. And I've not just adapt those marzocchi for my bike, but we're developing a complete kit ready to install for any GS or GSA from 2004-2013... Better than HP2!! ;)

  4. You do know that now that you have the tank guards on, you'll never lay it down again, right? It's only when there's no protection that it happens 🙄

  5. Posting up a few pictures from our ride on Sunday. Dusty and I did a 350 mile loop. We met at a Starbucks in La Canada around 6 am for coffee and were on the road before 7 am. We rode up CA HWY 2 to Angeles Forest HWY took the 14 North and got off at Jawbone Cyn. From there we rode County Roads, Forestry Roads, and with the absence of adult supervision to police us children we also rode a good amount of single tracks. Some basic ST Dusty about to cross the small ravine Couple of White Rhinos Some not so basic ST Time for a quick stop good looking giant It was a challenging and fun ride. We did't see a single other soul all day once we got up in the forest. I did't take pictures of the more gnarlier sections, but we rode on some off camber and steep tracks not much wider than the width of our tires.
