Administrators Eric Hall Posted January 12, 2019 Author Administrators My Rides (3) Report Share Posted January 12, 2019 Another scoop for XLADV is this video WESTX1000's Justin Coffey and Kyra Sadaclan just sent out. I had to put it on YouTube because all they sent was a dropbox link but all credit goes to them.

Getting lost in the Dakar Rally with no “Rever” app @fudgypup and with a broken road book and following Sunderland! Braaapp! Stoked!
Administrators Eric Hall Posted January 12, 2019 Author Administrators My Rides (3) Report Share Posted January 12, 2019 yeah I think that really captures the essence of Dakar and rally raid. It's such a rush of total adventure where circumstances become surreal sometimes and then both good and bad luck get weaved in and out of the story. We think it's 100% skill but the adventure of it all shows us there's something more magical about it.
Administrators Eric Hall Posted January 14, 2019 Author Administrators My Rides (3) Report Share Posted January 14, 2019 So in case you're wondering, Skyler is out of the race at stage 6 with injuries to his shoulder taking him out even before WP1. Four times he dislocated it this Dakar and days 1 and 2 he was battling the flu (did not know that). Good news is Brabec still in 1st overall even though he finished 3rd today. Garrett finished 37th and Angelo 54th. Rafferty looking to finish about 70th today so all appears normal. Story of that paraplegic rider Nicolas Dutto's disqualification. Very sad.
