8,6, 1 and 3 in that order, not a huge fan of the red/pink. Eight seems to have "pop" if you will followed closely by 6.

5 but I really like the simplicity of 3 as well.

I thought 6 was the best 1 a close second and had the best audio imo and 9 also pretty good.

#8 is my choice for animation. However none of them have a sound that says moto. The sound of a big bore bike engine / exhaust would be fitting.

Not a single one of those is suitable for this brand.

tell me more...

I'd prefer something with an engine/exhaust sound and animation that is more motorcycle-themed but the price was certainly right! ;)

Well, the result was certainly what you'd expect for that price :)

I think SOME of the animations are ok, but the sound, I 100% agree. Care to elaborate a bit for us? Would appreciate what you think is wrong and if you have a vision.

They don't really have a concept, and it shows. It's just some blending between presets.

The colour pallettes are mostly pastels that again, have nothing to do with the field of adv. riding.

Except for 7 which features some generic "debris", the graphics are completely out of touch with everything that has something to do with outdoor, engines, vehicles, bikes, struggle, effort, travel, sun, mud, dust, rain, sweat, oil, fuel, metal, plastic, rubber, navigation, survival etc. They look like some idents of some teen programming on a local tv station.

Is there a plan for some video content? Why is there any need for a motion graphics logo?

It's not really a must-have at this point.  I use an old pre-roll clip on YouTube videos of my rides but I was looking to update that.  I think your observations are spot-on and correct.  I'd prefer something that evokes some kind of adv-related sensory experience.  I just don't have the budget for it right now :)  I think to get something more like what you're talking about would cost considerably more.

Here's that pre-roll we have now:

True about the budget, but IMO it's better to have a simple thing with the right message than a complex one with the wrong one.

I like the simply Husky preroll

Yes, but Husky's logo is much simpler and abstract.

Also, the story that a motorcycle brand has to tell it's different to the one of a website/forum.
