tsunami huh? Thats a the default network name from a really old access point. Must be over 10 years old. In my Stars Wars voice "Thats a name I have not heard in a long long time".
Just stubbled across this forum, live just north of Seattle, mainly ride a 990 Adv, have a few other bikes also. Like multi day adv trips, been exploring BC as of late, but like to ride anywhere off the beaten path.

The General Store, also known as the Internet Cafe.
This is where you purchase gas at double market value if you forget to get some when you're in town. This is also where you connect to the mysterious wifi network "tsunami" and tell folks at home that you are still alive.
That's called good luck Rick! 👍 Welcome! Glad to have you... Have you checked out our KTM 990 ADV project bike? /forum/57-ktm-990-bike-build/
I know that we have some PAC NW riders, so hopefully you can hook-up with some for a little soupy PacNW exploring. I rains a little bit there, right?
Thanks for the feedback! Yes, it is liquid cooled, and good to know the noise is common. Been a while since I've been on a high revving bike and kept looking for another 3 gears. Haha I hear you about the Oil question. It usually goes from helpful to full on debate class. This baby does have some serious HP's! Didn't think I should have a problem pulling it up. I still can't believe the handling on this bike. It is the most forgiving and smoothest cornering bike I've ever ridden.
Ah ha!! (light bulb over head) That would make a lot of sense!!! Thanks for the slap on the back of my head Jason!Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

This Tractionator Adventure from Motoz sure did well
Rottweiler's Endurocell Aux gas tank sure helped me out on that 174 mile ride!
Front and rear are doing very well for me out in Death Valley. Made short work of both the very sandy and washed out West Side road as well as some rock steps at Goler wash

Congrats on your new bike! I take it you have the liquid cooled model? I am not as familiar with that one but yes the boxers tend to make a lot of noise. Just make sure you check the oil and adjust the valves and that sound is normal.
As for oil, just do what the manual says. Don't want to start "another oil thread."
You say it won't wheelie? My '11 GSA will wheelie and I know the new ones are even more powerful. The new ones are geared a bit taller though but I hear they will wheelie in third gear.
Bryan Bosch, well I'm pretty sure I don't qualify as "right hands", but after some practice maybe I'll be there. I'm hoping I don't feel obligated to buy my brother a new bike at the end of my borrowing it. Recom273 How do you have yours set up? What crash bars and cases are those?
Cheers,
Dan
Great day of riding today with Chris Hunt, Rich, Craig, Darnell and Matt down to Ballarat and a bit further south then back to PSR. Weather is perfect!

Duh...Missed the topic title! Miami... Well, not necessarily right next door, but never know... Might end up down there one day on the bike. Talked about Tampa to keywest sometime!
Welcome Alberto. What in FL are you located? I'm in the Tampa area and we have a small, but growing group. We've love to add you if you're in the area. I'll follow your channel to see what ya gots!
